On March 1st our team was honoured to receive the 2018 Community Builders Award of Excellence for Healthcare. The award goes to an individual or group that has had an important impact on health care in Greater Sudbury. Founding Chair, Dr. Chris McKibbon, accepted the award on behalf the City of Lakes Family Health Team.
The Community Builders Awards of Excellence has become a prestigious annual event since its inaugural ceremony in 2004. Hosted by Northern Life, it recognizes individuals and organizations in nine community categories, including: Arts, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Health Care, Sports & Recreation, Young Leaders, Hall of Fame and a Legacy Award.
The award underscored the team’s 10th Anniversary celebration.
