As the COVID-19 situation develops, we want to make you aware of changes at our clinics.
- If you are calling for an appointment, you will be screened for COVID-19.
- If you already have an appointment, please do not call to confirm your appointment.
- Please understand that we are booking essential appointments only. Non-essential appointments such as B-12 injections, some immunizations, physicals, etc. are being cancelled or not being booked until the resolution of COVID pandemic.
- If you are coming to our clinic for an appointment, do not arrive early. We are trying to keep our reception area as a safe zone. And, if possible, do not bring anyone else with you unless necessary or ask your driver to wait in their vehicle during your appointment.
- For some appointments, we may email a form to you. Please complete it at home prior to your appointment.
- Do not drop-in to our clinics if you do not have an appointment.
- If you require a prescription refill, you don’t need to call our clinic. Please contact your pharmacy first and ask them to send your doctor a refill request.
- We are shifting many of our appointments to virtual appointments. You may be speaking with your physician or another member of our clinical team by phone or videoconference instead of coming to the clinic. When you make your appointment, our clerks will provide you with clear instructions as to how this will work.
- All of our After Hour Clinics will take place at our Sudbury Clinic (Pioneer Manor). These clinics are by appointment only and will be reserved for all respiratory appointments. Patients are asked to remain in their vehicles when they arrive at the site. At the time of your appointment, you will receive a call to advise you to come into the clinic. If you do not have a cell phone, please ring the doorbell at the main entrance of the clinic and someone will provide you with instructions. Patients will receive a mask when they enter the clinic.
- In order to help reduce the potential spread of the virus, we are asking for your help. If you have a new or worsening cough, and/or fever, and/or chills, DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC. You have three phone options for medical advice or screening: call our City of Lakes Family Health Team clinics; call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000; or call Public Health Sudbury & Districts at (705) 522-9200.
