Our Social Worker offers counselling and treatment for mental health issues. This includes: individual counselling/treatment; individual sessions on recovery, self-management of symptoms; a treatment plan and goals in partnership with patients.
Our goal is to improve symptoms and aid in recovery of anxiety and depression or other mental health illness as well as to offer timely access to services.
We can refer patients to community agencies and connect patients with other service providers in the community who provide mental health, addiction and psychiatric services. For patients suffering with a mental health crisis, we offer same day or as soon as available mental health visit to help aid in crisis management.

MAST Workshop
MAST (Mindful Awareness Stabilization Training) is a 4 week course developed at St. Micheal's Hospital in Toronto with the help of a grant by Bell Let's Talk. Participants learn:
- Concrete tools to develop greater emotional stability in their daily lives
- Emotion regulation and the window of tolerance
- Mindfulness of body, thoughts and feelings
- How the brain/body processes stress and emotions*About developing self-care.

Individual Mindfulness Session
Individual sessions provide education and practical tools to help you practice mindful awareness. Mindfulness training helps people to become more aware of their thoughts and body sensations so that instead of being overwhelmed by them they are better able to manage them.
