At our Annual General Meeting, held on June 11th, the Board of Directors appointed a new Chairperson- Andrew Dale.
Andrew has been a member of the Board since its inception in 2007 and has served in the capacity of Vice-Chair for several years. His has extensive community involvement and is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Development for the Sudbury Wolves. He was selected in 2008 to participate in the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference. He was born and raised in Sudbury and graduated from Laurentian University with a Master’s of Business degree in 2007.
Andrew succeeds Dr. Chris McKibbon- the Founding Director of the City of Lakes Family Health Team. Dr. McKibbon has shepherded the Board of Directors for 11 years. In recognition of his contributions, the Conference Room at the Chelmsford clinic was named the Dr. Chris McKibbon Room. In 2018 he accepted the Community Builders Award for Healthcare on behalf of the team.
Also appointed as an Officer of the Board is Crystal Pitfield who assumes the role of Vice-Chairperson. Crystal has been a Board member since 2013 and is a Clinical Manager in the Emergency Department at Health Sciences North.
